Behind the Mask –

Designed by Angus Pratt:

Angus Pratt is no stranger to the devastation of a cancer diagnosis, having faced both male breast cancer and lung cancer in recent years. Throughout his journey, Angus has been involved in BC Cancer’s art therapy program that has helped him deal with the mental and emotional impacts of his diagnosis.

Now, as part of our “masked heroes” initiative, in collaboration with the art therapy program, Angus’ artwork will appear on the masks.

His design, inspired by his past Saskatchewan winters, symbolizes the sun rising on a new chapter in his life. A chapter he hopes will bring hope to other patients facing cancer.

“Art brings humanity to a devastating disease, and allows the expression of difficult moments,” says Angus. “Supporting the development of artistic expression takes a safe environment and fellow travelers willing to explore difficult emotions.”

The best Face Mask I have.

Fits just right, and is very comfortable.

Beautiful and functional

It is one of the most comfortable to wear masks that I own, and I receive compliments on the painting when I wear it. Thank you!

Angus Winterfence Face Mask

I thought I had purchased an ear loop. The head/neck strap is awkward and I haven't worn it. I will change it to an ear loop first.

Very comfortable

Comfortable to wear, easy to adjust the straps. I just wish these masks had a nose clip though - my glasses frequently fog up!

Excellent Product

But it is only fair to warn you that I did let them use my painting. I have a beard and so inserted a little wire into the bridge of my nosepiece to stop my beard from working the mask down on my face. I washed it for the first time today and it seemed to survive well. Really enjoying the softness and comfort of this mask.
